Support for student loan wage garnishment

Filed under: Financial Information — admin @ 6:30 pm

Support for student loan wage garnishment
The federal government spends a lot of money on the student’s loans. There are different types of student loans. They are made to the student community or given to the parents or the student loans can be arranged through the banks. There are billions of dollars spent annually on the student loans amount. Generally the students pay back these students loans after they get the employment. There is a good healthy 85 to 90 per cent of student populations ready to pay back their student loans. But still there remains a good deal of ten to fifteen per cent of student community which does not pay back these student loans. This is all the tax payers’ money. It is the duty of the government to collect and get back all the student loans. The government has well established administration structure to look after this student’s loan recovery problem. The department of education peruses this student loans defaulter’s problem very seriously. They contact the borrowers; try to get to his employers. They use different means to get back those student loans. One of the important weapons that the department of education can use is the wage garnishment order. In ordinary situations the credit giving agency has to go to the court to obtain the wage garnishment order. This is along legal procedure. But in case of the student loan recovery, the government support for student loan wage garnishment is in the form of a law. The education department need not go to the court for getting this wage garnishment order. There is higher education act P L 102-164, 20U S C, 1095a. This gives power to the department of education and its guarantee agencies to issue wage garnishment order without the need of going to the court. They can simply give an administration order to the employer and he has to with held up to fifteen per cent of the disposable income of the employee for the repayment of the student loan. As the students now know that the department of education has the ability to issue the wage garnishment order, they themselves contact the agency concerned and try to pay back voluntarily. There is dramatic increase in the number of borrower defaulters offering to pay back the students loans amounts after the implementation of this law. This wage garnishment order does not disturb the business of the employers. The employers have co operated with the education department for last several years and helped the education department to recover billions of your tax money from the defaulting borrowers of the student loans with the help of the student loan wage garnishment order.

Finance
In simple terms, finance involves the wise management of your finance and it can range from personal to business finance, depending on your focus. And speaking of focus, when doing finance-related work, it is better to focus on the weak areas of your financial life. Finance, in essence, is the management of an individual or organization’s finances, which includes taking note of the risks in various projects and undertakings. It involves the study of assets and liabilities, its control and management, project risks, and even funding. Finance is monitoring one’s finance, the inflow and outflow of money from your personal or business incomes. Simply, finance ensures that the right principles are applies to one’s finances. Financial mismanagement cannot be good for one’s financial history. Expenditures and investments are all taken with a measure of caution and knowledge. Through finance, one could easily see if he she spends beyond more than he could earn. It could determine if raising capital is financially possible and if it is possible, if it is appropriate. Part of finance is reducing expenditures when necessary, increasing one’s income and selling equity claims. And as stated earlier, it could either be within an organization or an individual. The goals, however, are the same: financial success and freedom. Of the two, it is probably personal finance that gets less attention. But then again, the scope of finance is not only businesses and their management, but also in one’s personal life. We are all confronted by numbers and we have no choice but to deal with them. Take for instance, your credit cards, loans, and insurance coverages. All of these entail a measure of knowledge and financial management skills, which when mastered can lead to the financial success and freedom you are looking for. Finance actually gives one the techniques of managing one’s money, which many times, left unchecked. Business finance, on the other hand, involves the management of the financial flow within a business organization. Well, actually, the right term would be organizational finance because technically, all organizations, even civil society organizations, require a certain department staffed by able financial advisers, lawyers, and accountants. This team is responsible in assessing and monitoring the assets and liabilities of an organization, the risks involved in a project, and the drafting of financial plans ranging from reducing of expenses, paying loans and debts, increasing income, and looking for other sources of revenue. As gleaned through this brief description, business finance has the same aims as personal finance: financial success. But since success comes for a price, the planning and implementation involved have to be carefully considered, knowing that with just a single wrong financial decision things could lead from one disaster to another. More and more people today than in the past engage in finance. And this does not only refer to businesses; this also refers to people who wants their records clean from debt, loans, and mortgages. This refers to people who want to maximize their assets, avoid a bankruptcy, avoid the bank taking a home for security and increase one’s money inflow. Finance is really about people enlarging their capacities for success, financially as well as personally.

Car loans for non homeowners

Filed under: Financial Information — admin @ 10:27 am

Car loans for non homeowners
Are you a non home owner? Are you worried that because you do not own a home, you cannot get a car loan? Does it bother you that your dream car will still remain a dream as you do not have any collateral to get a car loan? All these things are no more than a myth in today’s world. Car loans are very common now a days and there are car loans for all types of people. Even people who have a very bad credit or who are bankrupt can get a car loan. Also, it is such a competitive market now a days that the lending institutions can no longer choose to ignore the non homeowners as they constitute quite a substantial chunk of people in the country today. So what are the types of car loans for non homeowners? Well, there are basically two types of car loans for non home owners – secured car loans and unsecured car loans. Secured car loans are issued when certain collaterals are pledged against the loan amount. The collateral can be your property, or financial papers or you can even pledge the car that you are about to buy as a collateral. Secured car loans for non homeowners would require you to pledge the car as collateral against the loan or if you have certain valuable financial papers, you can pledge that too. Secured car loans for non homeowners would take a bit longer because the value of the collateral has to be appraised before the loan can be approved. A second type of car loans for non homeowners would be the unsecured car loans in which no collateral needs to be produced. This type of loan is ideal for non home owners. However, the lenders are a lot stricter while issuing non secured loans as they consider the risk associated to be greater. Hence, your credit score, your financial status, your income flows and your employment will be scrutinized before issuing you an unsecured car loan. These loans are approved much faster than secured loans as there is no need for appraisal of value of collateral. However, there is one pitfall. Unsecured loans are sanctioned at higher interest rates than secured loans. So you will have to bear additional expenses because of this. Car loans for non homeowners are not difficult to get. However the lending agencies are a lot more skeptical while issuing car loans for non homeowners because in case of a default in repayment, they may not be able to recover the loan amount. That is why unsecured car loans for non homeowners entertain higher interest rates to compensate for this added risk. But the market for car loans for non homeowners is so competitive that you can actually get a very good bargain. So do check out sufficient lenders before choosing one.

Telemarketing surety bond

Filed under: Financial Information — admin @ 5:30 am

Telemarketing surety bond
A telemarketing surety bond is a type of license & permit bond which is required to operate in the telemarketing industry. These bonds are in place to protect the consumer from wrongful solicitation by a telemarketer. Many states have strict laws that govern telemarketers and thus have enforced a telemarketing surety bond to get the license to operate. A telemarketer solicits the selling of products, services or goods over the phone. In the case a telemarketer fails on any of the statutory obligations, a telemarketing surety bond will fulfil any claims that the oblige makes due to lapses on the part of the principal, the telemarketer in this case. The premiums of a telemarketing surety bond are higher than other types of license and permit bonds because there are very strict guidelines against telemarketers in most of the states in the United States. Legislators have felt that telemarketers have entered into the American lives which sometimes borders on intrusion. It is because of this that there are stiff fines which are in place in case the telemarketer does not follow the procedure. Telemarketers are now finding it increasingly more difficult to operate because of the do not call program initiated which forbids them from calling many of their clients. There are a lot of other restrictions on the operation of a telemarketer. For example, the law states that the telemarketer has to state their full name and the business that they represent to the client. However, these things are very easy to forget and new employees do make the mistake of not stating these facts which could lead to a claim to be made by the client. Because of high attrition in the telemarketing industry, this problem has become worse as newer employees are always joining the industry. Second problem is of falsity of information. Most telemarketers are rewarded financially if they are able to make certain amount of sale. Because of this fact, sometimes because of greed, telemarketers might not be completely honest with the client. These plus a whole lot more of regulations makes it very difficult for a telemarketing company to operate within the permits of the law and there are multiple avenues where in a small mistake could land the company into trouble. It is because of this very nature of the industry that the telemarketing surety bond premiums are so high. As more and more newer legislations are put to place, one could see the premiums of the telemarketing surety bond to rise even further. These tough regulations have made it very difficult for the telemarketing companies to operate. This has put serious question mark on their financial stability, one more reason why bonding companies are very critical when they are looking at a principal for issuance of a telemarketing surety bond. All the factors mentioned above, the stringent regulations, the nature of the industry, the operational difficulties etc. make the underwriting of telemarketing surety bond one of the most difficult and risky. No wonder that bonding companies take time to issue these bonds to telemarketers.

New car loans

Filed under: Financial Information — admin @ 5:25 pm

New car loans
Cars are becoming a very important part of our life now days. It would be very difficult to imagine our lives without cars these days. Cars also contribute to the prosperity of an individual, at least that’s what studies have to say. Cars are used in businesses and can mean the difference between a successful and an unsuccessful one. No wonder that more and more people and business houses are going for new car loans to meet their finances. New car loans are usually taken by those people who do not want to buy a used car. This may be because of many reasons. One may be that the model that they are looking to buy is a latest model not available in the used car market. Second could be that they always go for new cars and are not used to driving used cars. Third could be that they had a very bad experience with the last used car that they bought and from then on decided never to go for used cars again. New car loans are thus mostly availed by people who do not have the finances to pay for the car or who do not want to create a dent in their savings by paying for the new car in full. New car loans are a great way to stretch yourself that extra bit so that the dream car of yours becomes affordable to you. New car loans can be either secured or unsecured. Secured loans are extended to the borrower against an asset which is pledged. This asset can be in the form of a property or the car itself can act as the asset for collateral. Secured new car loans are very common these days as they are available at comparatively lesser rates of interest. On the flip side, your assets are under risk in case of failure to repay the loans. Unsecured loans, however, are much better in this regard as even those who don’t have adequate assets or who don’t want to pledge their assets as collaterals can also get new car loans easily. The only caveat with this kind of new car loans is that their interest rates are usually higher than that of a secured loan as the risks associated with these loans are also a bit higher for the lenders. New car loans are widely available now. There are many financial agents who are offering new car loans. Information about these agents can be obtained online as well. You can apply online as well for certain lenders and online quotations are very readily available. The rates are mostly competitive so do hunt around for the vendor who is ready to offer you the best rates.
