Cleaning Dog Urine From Your Carpet
It's not very often that he does it, but sometimes Harry has an accident, we lock him inside by mistake or my poor boy is just sick… and I end up having to clean his pee from the carpet. There are a lot of remedies out there, a LOT. But lets just start with the basics shall we.
When your dog (or cat, or any animal for that matter… even if it's your child!) pees on the carpet, the first and most important thing to do is to soak up as much of the liquid as you can. Use paper towels to blot up the moisture. Keep going until there is literally no more moisture you can soak up. Stand on the paper towels or put a heavy object on there until you really have done all you can.
This is the first, and most important step in how to get dog urine smell out of carpet. For more, check out my site on carpet cleaning.
